DAY 01 :
Upon arrival at Delhi, meet to your representative, transfer to New Delhi Railway station, board train to Chandigarh by Shtabadi Exp. (ETD 0600 hrs. ETD 1100 hrs). On arrival at Chandigarh meet to our driver, transfer to hotel, rest of the time visit Rock Garden, Rise Garden and local market (sector 17). Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02 :
After breakfast, depart for Paragour (Dharamshala) (210kms/5 hours). On arrival check in hotel, rest of the time visit local village. Dinner and overnight stay in Judges Court, Pragpur.
DAY 03 :
After breakfast commence our sightseeing, visit Jwalaji Temple, Kangra Fort, Brajeshwari Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple The present temple is a beautiful example of the early medieval north Indian temple architecture known as Nagara style of temples. The Svayambhu form of Sivalinga is enshrined in the sanctum of the temple that has five projections on each side and is surmounted with a tall curvilinear Shikhara, while on the other hand Chamunda Devi is a Shakti shrine, situated 10 km west of Palampur, on the Baner River. This colorful shrine has a wrathful form of Durga or Chamunda. The idol in the temple is considered so sacred that it is completely hidden beneath a red cloth.
Here Lord shiva is present in the form of death, destruction & dead bodies along with Devi Chamunda. In the temple the devotees can see scenes from the Devi Mahatmya, Ramayan and Mahabharata. On either side of the Devi's image is Hanuman andBhairo.Devotees offer prayers, worship and give offerings for their ancestors. It is thought to be sacred to take a dip in Ban Ganga and to read and recite the writings of Shat Chandi. In the old days, people used to offer, sacrifices also to the deity. The Goddess Chamunda was enshrined as chief Goddess with the title of Rudra in the battle between demon Jalandhra and Lord Shiva which made this place famous as "Rudra Chamunda". Norbulinga (Tibetology) driver towards Mc Leodgunj en route visit Kangra Painting School, On arrival at Mc-Leodgunj, check in hotel, rest of the time leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 :
Fulld ay local sightseeing, visit as H. H. The Dalai Lama resides (Cholangkhang). At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artefacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayer wheels. With in the monastery are large idols of Buddha The charming church of St. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. Rest of the time leisure for individual activities, dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 :
After breakfast commence drive to Rewalsar Lake, en route visit Baijinath Shiva and Parvati Temples, Mandi Raghunath Ji temples, later drive to Rewalsar Lake, on arrival check in hotel later visit the Rewalsar the big statue or Guru Padamashambva. Overnight hotel at Rewalsar.
DAY 06 :
Early morning departure to Kalka railway station, on arrival board train to Delhi, ETD 1800 hrs ETA 2200 hrs. On arrival meet to driver drop at your destination (Only in Delhi).
